I have been unsure whether to write this review as it’s not in my character to shame a business, but it’s important I share this so no other dog goes through what my poor dog went through at Nugget. All the glowing reviews make this place look amazing, but this is not the reality. I took my toy poodle Daphne to nugget 4 times, each time was nothing special but I kept going back as I was new to Bordeaux and didn’t know anywhere else to go. On her last appointment, I picked her up and carried her to the car, where she started crying and licking her leg a lot. To my horror I looked at her leg and it has been sliced open. Photos are attached. I understand accidents happen and that is absolutely fine, but when I collected Daphne not one employee told me she had been cut or honest about what had happened - which put Daphne in more danger of potential infection. When I called to ask what happened they denied everything despite the cut on her leg clearly being from scissors - they even suggested I may have done it to her on my way from picking her up to putting her in the car, which to be honest was just insulting. Daphne had to undergo TWO surgery’s to have multiple stitches in her leg and it took months for it to fully heal. Needless to say, she was absolutely traumatised and hasn’t been the same since. We didn’t receive any vet bill reimbursement money for months and were continually lied to saying it was their insurance agency who would pay us back- it was only when I threatened to post a review that I was reimbursed instantly. This was months after what had happened. Please don’t take your dog here, the reviews are not an accurate representation of what this business is and they ask people to write them. They are careless and completely unprofessional. RESPONSE to your reply to my review - You should be ashamed of yourself for the lies you have told in your response. The reason I didn’t come back after seeing daphnes injury was because I had to rush her to the vet before it closed for the day as I picked her up from her appointment at 6.10pm - I texted you at 6.20 about her injuries. You even messaged me telling me to take her to the vet before it closed. I contacted you 10 minutes after picking her up- not 30 minutes - I have attached messages to prove you are lying. Your staff took the time to speak to me and be over friendly/taking photos because you knew you had done something wrong and were hoping I would not notice. In all previous appointments your staff were never overly friendly and hardly spoke to me. There was also cream applied to the cut to stop it from bleeding - a clear indication that you knew exactly what had happened and tried to prevent further bleeding and drawing attention to it. It would be great if you could please provide one ‘threat’ from me other then when I said if we aren’t reimbursed in the next 24 hours I would write a review showing what you did to Daphne. I was patient with you and at this point I had had enough - you just kept giving excuse after excuse as to why we had not been reimbursed. Why did the insurance company suddenly agree to reimburse you rather than me once the claim was approved only after I said I would write a review? You were adamant for weeks that this was not an option. I asked you this via our last text messages and you never even cared to respond. There is no error or judgement on my end - you hurt my dog and chose to not inform me, putting my dog in further risk of infection. And the fact that you are now just outright lying about what happened is even more disappointing.

By far one of the best pet boutiques on the planet. Carefully selected products of high quality and with fair prices. Unbelievably friendly and competent employees. Dog and pet friendly atmosphere. Me and my wife loved it. Our little teckel adores the shop. We will be back often 💛

My cocker spaniel has had two grooming appointments here and I have been satisfied both times. They helped removed the knots and recommended a harness better suited for her long fur to help avoid future tangles. I will be coming back again when my pup needs grooming.

De passage, nous sommes passer devant cette boutique qui nous a attirée tellement qu’elle était jolie. On a été super bien reçu ainsi que notre shiba Suki. Elle a pu profiter d’une chantilly rafraîchissante pour chien, pendant qu’on a siroté une super limonade. Les prix sont très raisonnables et la cours pour boire sa boisson est fraîche et très sympa. C’est le lieu idéal si vous voulez vous rafraîchir en compagnie (ou non) de votre animal à 4 pattes.

Paris - Bordeaux et HOP chez Nugget ! Avant même l’installation de la boutique dédiée à nos chers poilus, Tabatha avait rencontré la Belle Sookie et sa mum Pénélope qui cherchait Le Lieu pour ancrer toute son énergie et sa conception de l’univers des chiens ! On a suivi l’ouverture sur Instagram. Et dès notre passage à Bordeaux, on est allé découvrir ce nouveau lieu 5 étoiles ! On aime -L’accueil chaleureux autant pour les humains que pour les 4 pattes - La sélection pointue, moderne, engagée - les conseils avisés Et mention toute spéciale pour le toilettage Haute-Couture et bienveillant de Claire À l’écoute , elle maîtrise parfaitement les codes d’épilation du cocker anglais . Alors pour Tabatha, zéro doute, c’est the place to go !

J’ai passé plusieurs commandes sur le site de Nugget et à chaque fois tout s’est très bien passé. L’équipe est toujours disponible, donne de très bons conseils et répond à toutes les questions. J’ai aussi eu l’occasion de passer à la boutique lors d’un passage à Bordeaux : elle est superbe, bien agencée et vraiment accueillante, surtout quand on vient avec son chien. Un vrai plaisir à chaque fois !

Deuxième toilettage pour mon cocker chez Nugget, et le travail de la toiletteuse est incroyable. Elle est habituée aux cockers, elle est très attentive à nos attentes et respecte totalement sa robe. L'entretien quotidien est tellement plus simple quand le toilettage est réussi ! La boutique est également très jolie, avec des produits à la fois beaux et pratiques. Toute l'équipe est hyper accueillante et attentionnée. Bref, je recommande les yeux fermés!!
